Committing to personal excellence and joining the top 20 percent of income earners in your field should be a goal for every entrepreneur. If you are going to invest your time, money, and energy into a business venture. Then give that venture a chance to succeed by committing to join the top twenty percent.

Is it all about the money? Yes, it is. Money is not everything but it is important. If it wasn’t the money you would have just kept your job and ride off into the sunset. But since you did start a business you might as well strive to be in the 20% of your industry.

The awesome thing about the Top 20 is everyone there started at the Bottom 20. Those successful people did something different with their time, talents, strengths, and money. That put them on the road to financial success.

How to Get in the Top 20 Percent

Make a Decision

Know why you started your business. You have a vision. All it takes is for you to decide to be one of the top people in your field. Decide and take action.

Follow The Leaders|

Decide to follow the leaders. You do not suffer from a lack of information. There are tons of books that can teach you about your industry. There are coaches and seminars.

The top people in your industry learn and get better. Don’t reinvent the wheel. There is a blueprint for success so model the successful. Learn from the best. Does it cost an investment? Yes, so invest in yourself.

What do the Top 20 Make

The truth is if you are looking to make an extra $100-$500 per month go get a job. It is much easier and you can get ahead financially with that. Don’t waste your time striving for those short dollars.

Work at Starbucks on the weekends, deliver pizza, and pick up a paper route. Don’t waste time in a business for only six grand a year. Google the top 20 percent and align your plan with that income bracket.
