Decide, commit, and win. Start now so you can crush 2024. Why wait? This is how you become elite in your field and in life. This is simple and not easy. Yet, this is what it takes to get what you want. At the beginning of 2022, I was 243 lbs with a 42-inch weight. As of today I weighed in at 196 lbs and my waist is down to 36 inches. Now I have been fat for 40 years of my life and the first 8 months of 2022 I just couldn’t beat the battle of the bulge.

I heard a podcast and the main theme was Decide, Commit, and Win. Of course, this led to a virtual fitness program and I bought in. At that moment I made the decision, committed to an outcome, and since then I have been winning physically. My A1C went from 13.1 to 8.4 and my daily blood sugar from 300+ to below 170 every day.

The first step is to decide. As the definition says to conclude or solve. When you make a decision you plant your flag in the ground. That is it. No turning back. The only thing to do is move forward.

The power of decision will change your life. Furthermore, when you pick a clear and concise goal there has to be a decision to fully obtain it. Wavering only leads to disappointment and dreams unfulfilled.

The Commitment Phase

Commit: to do; perform; perpetrate:

Once you decide on what you want the next step is to commit. Commit is an action word. This is where the doing comes in. For example, I made a decision to invest in the virtual training program…
