Think about when people trust you they do business with you. Building trust can help you achieve that quickly.
4.5 Ways How to Build Trust and Become Referable
- 1. Be On Time — Arrive 15–20 minutes early. Be aware that parking might be a problem. Being early allows you to plan ahead, and get to know the surrounding areas and people. You will be relaxed and not rushed.
- 2. Do what you say you are going to do — Overdeliver and go beyond what they expect. If something happens… explain why you can not do it. If you don’t have the answer explain that you can find the answer (shouldn’t happen).
- 3. Finish what you start follow-up and follow through — Get back with them as you promised. Offer considerations if you don’t finish. Finish what you start.
- 4. Say please and thank you — In our fast pace world people forget to do this. Subconsciously this goes a long way. It’s an attitude of gratitude. Being considerate will lead to referrals.
- 4.5 Be Clear on how to build trust — Be clear on your outcome. Know your end result. When you are confident your clients will be confident in you. Clarity builds trust also.
